Really loved the food! :) They were busy the day we came in, and so the service was kinda slow, but they still took good care of us! We would recommend this place for the sweet roles alone!

Amazing cafe! They make everything they can in house. Great prices. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and bunch of amazing pies and baked goods. Our server was great. The clubhouse sandwich was great. You can’t beat the bone in ham!

This was the first time I had been here. I've driven by it hundreds of times. I ordered the 1/2 lb chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns. It was delicious. Its an actual steak hand breaded right there. I actually took half the steak with me. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic place to eat and to work. Overall friendly staff, quick service, and good food. Prices are fair for the amount of food/beverage you pay for. The owner is an awesome person. The cafe has a relaxing lounge with a great selection of liquor. Would recommend anytime.

Best kept secret in Eastern Oregon. This little cafe nestled in N. Powder Oregon, just off of I 84. Huge portions, great food I can't tell you how good this food is! People drive from all over for their 1lb chicken fried steak! Everything is homemade! Pies, steaks, biscuts and heavy, hand cut home fries, fresh homegrown beef.

There is only one exit to this town and restaurant, so don't miss it! They have great breakfast food and I've never been disappointed with their lunch and dinner menu. One of my favorite meals is the regular breakfast which has eggs, bacon and hasbrowns. I've never received this great quality in a meal at other restaurants, but I love it at North Powder Cafe! My other favorite is called the "Wagon Master". In the fall and winter, enjoy sitting next to the gas fireplace enjoying the beautiful decorations. There is also a gift shop located behind the register. The service might be considered slow by some (I don't think it is)- wait for it, you won't regret it!

Great spot for home style cooking and delicious baked goods. They have enormous cinnamon rolls, cookies, treats, and many freshly made pies to choose from. The gift shop is also very cute!

Absolutely some of the best food with most generous portions around. Please take the time to try them out on your travels through Oregon. Ample truck parking is available

I have found a hidden gem here in eastern Oregon one of the very few remaining True Country diners every time I come through on my route as a trucker I'm going to make sure I stop here and eat delicious food at great prices definitely on my favorites list!!!

Combo omelet had 3 times more meat then egg. Chilli was great as well. Only complaints was they didn't ask what you wanted to drink and chicken strips were dry.

Glad that we stopped to check out. it's not the best cafe and wouldn't stop again. Not because it's bad, it's just not so good I'd want to stop again. The pies are not good, so definitely a skip. Canned peaches and clear gel? Pass!! no one wanted to eat it after one bite. I never had pie that looked and tasted so displeasing. The homemade fries came cold and soggy which is weird because we were there waiting for the food to be made. They were also dark DARK brown and just wrong. posted pics. The actual meat was fine, but the hamburger as a whole was meh. This place is definitely overrated. Truckers still looking for a gem on 84...

We were on our way home to Washington and found this amazing cafe. All my kids loved their meals. Best hamburgers ever!!

Love the north powder cafe and enjoying it even more now with their newly added on section. They have great food and amazing staff and it's an overall friendly place to grab a quick bite to eat from either coming off the freeway or just for the locals.

I like to stop here, the food is great and service is warm and nice. No bake cookies are to die for.

Omelette old school. Folded like a burrito with grilled innards. Excellent. Good hash browns and very good sour dough toast with plenty of butter.

This is a really cute, well staffed, pleasant place. Generous portions at a super reasonable price. I had a burger with fries. Usually you get a burger and places don't give you many fries, not the case here. Company had biscuits and gravy, here again, generous portion size. Staff excelled in the customer service category, really pleasant. Interior is comfortable but slightly dated. Neat little gift shop here as well. Good for truckers as parking lot is large. A welcome alternative to the truck stop in La Grande.

Fresh homemade style food. We had The Wagon Master and The Bronco plus chocolate and Lemon pie! They have an outdoor seating area, which is perfect if you are traveling with pets cuz they can sit with you outside.

So I came here after a long drive from Michigan to Portland. We stopped here. It was tiny and the staff was friendly. We had to go through the side door because construction was happening to improve the front I guess. And I'm not even kidding I was not expecting to have the best burger in my life that day but I did. It was so amazing I have no clue what they did to that freaking burger but wow I can't stop thinking about it. This will now be a staple on my cross countries on the I84!

This place is so good it would have 5 stars in Portland just as well as off I-84. Friendly folks, chill about substitutions, great portion sizes, flavorful and fresh. Get one of the biscuits or a burger!

Came across this small cafe while taking a delivery up to Washington from California. Nice little dining setup, waitress was very nice and courteous. Food was good. Place to park my tractor trailer. Will have to stop by again the next time I pass through. They even have a small gift store inside. Bought myself a new hat since my other one is fading. Thanks for a pleasant experience even though it was brief.

This is a super cute little place with very good staff. Our waitress checked up on us regularly and was friendly. The food was the only reason I rated this lower. The steak finger basket, fries and their mashed potatoes all had a sour taste. I'd be very interested in trying their breakfast next time.
